Podcaster: Welcome to our podcast. We are honored to have you with us. How are your service being different from the other interior designers?

Gabriella: The honor is mine, thank you for the invitation. I specialise in designs for busy entrepreneurs and professionals to have an aesthetically pleasant environment which is also highly motivating and functional, so it is serving them. My clients are mainly women but I am happy to help everyone. There are so many examples in our lives when our direct environment is on the way of our own success. If it is unorganised, hard to clean, nothing is at the right place it can make your life so much harder.

Podcaster: You have mentioned that the interior can affect the wellbeing of the occupier. How is that?

Gabriella: So, let’s say you have a reading corner without suitable light. Either is not strong enough, not the right type or it does not set up to the right distance or angle. You try to read make your eye work 10x harder. After a while you will end up with a terrible headache and also can make your eye sight worse. Because we are in pain it will shift your mood as well as it will make it impossible to focus. Another example for instance can be a seat, chair or sofa set up wrongly woth too much or not enough pillows. That can cause you back pain. Back and neck pain can be caused as well in your home office. The lack of space to work from home, because you never thought about that you discomfort working from the sofa can make you pain therefore it can take awav vour focus and motivation.

Podcaster: This all sounds like it is more than just interior design.

Gabriella: Interior Design is never only colours and materials. I have a business and life coach profession as well, so I do know how to ask the right questions to get to know my client. I also worked im fashion photography so I have the background to create trending interiors as well. Getting to know the client’s life and style must be the base of every project I do. The client must feel the space is highly personalised. If your space is tailored to your needs, it can save you so much time and energy that will make you more productive or even have more time to rest or to spend with your family.

Podcaster: How can an interior design save you time?

Let’s say you are preparing for an important interview and cannot find your heels but were super busy previously as well so did not have time to look for them. Now you will not have time to prepare for the interview, because you must find shoes to wear. Another example for instance could be you are working on a project the deadline is tomorrow. As you do not have a tailored storage for the paperwork near your home office desk, you will spend so long to find the documents you need that will slow you down and make you feel frustrated. That will make you question your abilities and send you down on a spire towards an impostor syndrome route.

Podcaster: Can a functional design be appealing for the eves as well?

Gabriella: Absolutely! I have a calligraphy, photography, and media design certification also I have been drawing and painting in my whole life so I must say yes. I was working around beauty in my whole life. In my personal opinion if something is not appealing, I do not feel motivated to use it. In the other hand if something has a nice design and you can’t only take your eyes off it, but you will feel pleasure to use it. On this way it will give you inspiration and motivation to the activity you probably were not in the mood to do previously. For example, you hate time management, but you have got a beautiful new shiny planner with your name on it. That is much better to use. Imagine your dream home office, with your favourite mood board and a dream office desk or even a walking machine under it. On the wall you can see your role model in a frame, next to it the best motivational quote of all times. And all of this made with your fav colours! You would not want to leave that home office ever!
